Family & Childrens Service provides conflict resolution and character education for at-risk children in Metro Nashville Schools. The program targets children in grades K 6 and provides character building lessons as well as teaching personal safety and healthy ways to cope with peer pressure. Testing and observation by teachers and parents have shown that children who participate in these skill-building groups retain and practice the skills that are learned.
Family & Childrens Service also provides counseling and support for students in Williamson County who are experiencing grief and loss or their parents divorce.
