FrivoliTIES 2007
Family & Children's Service’s signature fundraiser, FrivoliTIES, took place at the Hilton Downtown Nashville on Saturday, January 13th, 2007. 400 guests attended and over $145,000 was raised. The event featured a fabulous dinner, dancing until midnight to the music of the Sam Levine and City Lights, a silent auction and a Tie Contest.
Event co-chairs were Louise Bairnsfather and Sydney Haffkine. The evening’s festivities honored Mrs. Judy Simmons. Guests were delighted to find adorable goodie bags in their cars at the end of the evening with a sweet note, drinks & moon pies.
The theme for this year’s event was “TIE me to the Moon!” Julie & Frank Boehm along with Jeannie & Jim Hastings co-chaired the Patron Party with Honorary Patron Chair, Martha Ingram at Schermerhorn Symphony Center on Friday, January 5, 2007.

All proceeds from FrivoliTIES 2007 will benefit the programs of Family & Children's Service. F&CS offers real help for real hurt, right now. The compassionate understanding and expertise of our Board of Directors, volunteers, staff and clinicians allows us to help any person who is struggling at any time. Through counseling, education, 24 hour crisis and trauma intervention, and neighborhood-based services, we bring over 60 years of strength to individuals, children and families.
