For more than 63 years, Family & Children's Service has been helping families mend, by guiding individuals toward more independent and satisfying lives. As a result, our community-based programs deliver hope and healing through neighborhoods, homes, and schools in 26 Middle Tennessee counties.
F&CS provides individual and family counseling. We are recognized experts in our field, offering a rich variety of healing resources for issues such as domestic violence, substance abuse, depression and anxiety, and the emotional support needs of seniors as they continue to age. Additional services include school-based programs for at-risk children, nationally recognized trauma intervention services for children and their families, and an employee assistance program for local private and public companies.
We are affiliated with the national Alliance for Children and Families, the Child Welfare League of America and are accredited by the Council of Accreditation of Services for Families and Children.
Services are offered without discrimination and are accessible for persons with disabilities.
We receive significant funding from federal, state, and local government sources, United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, United Way of Williamson County, United Way of Maury County, and our generous donors in the 26 counties we serve.
